In 1998 Bangor Gas launched construction of the piping system that connects its Bangor area customers to the U.S. portion of the Maritimes & Northeast pipeline. The system includes 9.5 miles of transmission pipeline and 250 miles of distribution pipeline. Their service area includes the communities of Bangor, Brewer, Bucksport, Hermon, Lincoln, Old Town, Orono, and Veazie.
Energy West has been serving customers in the Great Falls area since 1909. They also serve the communities of Cascade and Hardy Creek, as well as Cut Bank and West Yellowstone. Energy West provides natural gas service to over 31,000 customers across three counties and owns approximately 638 miles of distribution lines.
Formed in 1998, Frontier Natural Gas is a North Carolina limited liability company dedicated to providing safe, reliable natural gas service to residential, commercial, and municipal customers in Surry, Yadkin, Wilkes, Watauga, Ashe & Warren Counties. While yet a young company, Frontier Natural Gas draws directly on the stability and expertise of Energy West.
Our Ohio operations are maintained through two companies – Orwell Natural Gas and Northeast Ohio Natural Gas. Orwell Natural Gas was founded in 1987 and today serves more than 9,000 customers across 8 counties. Northeast Ohio Natural Gas provides natural gas service to over 17,000 customers in 18 counties.
Hearthstone Utilities Inc., a holding company, distributes and sells natural gas to end-use residential, commercial and industrial customers. It distributes approximately 26 billion cubic feet of natural gas to approximately 70,900 customers through regulated utilities operating in Montana, Ohio, Maine and North Carolina. The Company’s other operations include natural gas production and natural gas marketing. The Company's Montana public utility was originally incorporated in 1909.
